I just bought two for converting the Swegad to twin motors. Gonna be quite a project, but should make a competitive SAW boat. JIM

Next step for my build is to reinforce the insides of the hull with fiberglass, fill all holes with silicone and then paint the insides flat black... I will post the pics soon...

Looking great, Rob! Don't forget to glass over the canopy & windows too.

I couldn't tell from the pics, but if you are running the stock flexie stuffing tube you should replace it with with a seamless Stainless Steel tube like I did on mine. Mine is .275" ID X 3/8" OD. Start the bend about 1" ahead of the strut and SLOWLY form a gentile bend with your thumbs to just before it passes thru the hull. Straight after that. The SS stuffing tube should outlast the hull. I don't run a teflon sleve in the stuffing tube, do use teflon bushings on the strut/prop shaft.

Do change to an offset rudder before you run this beautiful beast or it will be squirelly as hell. Even with all the reinforcing, this bad boy is capible of hull crunching speeds. Take your time trimming it out & learning how she handles before you push the envelope.

And, PLEASE send us more pics & videos after you ger her running. It should be awesome! JIM
