I'm with you, Sir. I have only three P-Class raceboats : P-Mono, P-Offshore, And P-Sport Hydro. High strung and have the highest dollars invested in components and batteries. To go faster in that class (since motors are unlimited) all I need to do is drop in a bigger motor. Not much skill involved there. My six "spec" raceboats :
P Ltd -OPC, 3 P-Ltd-Offshore, P Ltd-Mono, and P-Ltd Jersey Skiff. Spec racing has given me the opportunity to own more boats and get the most stick time at races AND as you said, really get down with the nitty-gritty of tuning.

Now Tony, you know there's more to speed than just stuffing a bigger motor in the P boats. Tuning and tinkering still are the major factors when you're up near the limits. Oh, and that funny looking spinning thing on the back.

I will say that the spec boats are a wonderful tuning challenge.

I always wondered what that was for. Maybe you could loan me one.....Oh Wait

Spec is probably what keeps me involved. Sitting here reviewing my plans for WWVIII in six days I start to nervously twitch when I think about the three P- classes I've entered, but the four Ltd class entries I'm racing in are what looks to be the most pleasurable, less intimidating ones for my level of driving skill.

        C'Ya soon, Papa

Don't try to BS us Tony. I've seen you drive at Joe's & in your race videos. You're no shlock behind the wheel. You didn't get those records with limited driving skills. Pick up a few more for the club in AZ. JIM
