    Amp measurement increasing

    any one have a good way to boost the amp reading capability of the V4 Eagle tree logger yet?
    (greater than 150Amps)

        just a couple of Eveready D cell batteries is all Mike,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!

            I'm glad you edited that first post. I was scratching my head. LOL

            Thats alot of juice for any data logger!!

            I was going to offer my Hydra Ice (with data logging) to to get a base line on what the motor and prop is drawing. I know the older Hydra's didnt like 6s very much. Havent heard too much about the Ice series. I pushed over 300 amps peak through that sucker on 4s in my oval trials boat.

              I can see that for sure Mike.

              I have the ET V4 and I know some one here had it set for 300A useage.
              now I know what was done to get it. :-)

              I still have the mini 400A clamp on unit from the Mil. but it is getting old and in a boat, not the best of worlds to run it in.

                I can't say it for the eagle tree but here in Europe we have the UniLog System from SM-Modellbau which is available with a 400A shunt for current measuring. These 400A are nominal, I've seen logs around 550A peak currents.
