i was trying to go through the program using the usb linker, once im in the program i click on open and it times out doesnt let me in. now i cant get the esc to come on, like say to set the trigger position. no beeps out of the motor. it worked before i had problems with the usb linker. i got no clue what happened. any ideas or your expereinces would be great. this is all brand new never been used before.

had the exact same problem with the sf200
I tried 3 different computers using both the v2 and v4 software, it seems v3 doesn't exist.
It's in the mail back to Steven right now (don't know if he got it yet)
maybe hifei got a bad batch of components.

i cant thank you enough. a 10 dollar usb device is one thing, and it pissed me off royally. i hope the esc just shut its self off using some auto feature because now it wont do anything. somebody said something about making sure you plug the esc into the radio after connecting the batteries to the esc. i can say i remember if i did this or not. its alot of money wasted if this thing took a *!***!***!***!** on me before i get to use it. im calling off shore elec today. thanks for reading.

steve refered me to his rep at hifei. i emailed her and im waiting to here back from her. steve said he never heard of this problem before.

I don't want to be bad on steve, but two weeks ago I had the exact same symptoms and contacted him, must not remember?

na i wouldnt beat the guy up either. hes got a great rep on this fourm. i figure i didnt explain myself like you did or hes got alot going on. still waiting hifei. boater guy can you use ur esc at least or you down as well?

no beeps on plugin (two motors with 2S,3S, and 5S each and two radios)
I could connect to the ESC using the V2 software but timed out when trying to update.
couldn't even connect using V4 software.
it's on it's way back now.

so you sent the esc back to off shore electrics ? i know you said its been two weeks if i get anywhere with the email to hifei ill let u know. i should email steve again maybe jog his memory

he's really bogged down, you gotta find that balance between reminding him and bugging him, I know i'm on the wrong side
I got a warranty form from him and filled it out, I don't think you should just send him an ESC with a warranty filled out, might get you off on the wrong foot.

sound like thats the reason why he refered me to hifei. i hope i hear back from her soon.

I didn't hear back from her, he forwarded my message to her but she never replied to me, maybe it got lost in Steven's inbox before he could forward it to me.

yeah i double and triple checked through that.

same here it will only let you chose the right comxxx. if i put the wrong on it tells me no.

That same thing happened to me so I just kept rebooting the computer and running the programme several times and bingo it would work.
