Could it be like a gift bag. If you dont have anything bigger to give but had a bunch of smaller useful stuff could you put it together like a grab bag sorta thing.

It will be same as sale thread just post a picture of what the items are and a description for people to see.
Then first person to say I'll take it gets it but 1 item per person.

You could post more then one item if you have it and say 1 item per person.
Or 1 person gets all these items......

Its up to the giver if they want to pay shipping or have the taker pay for it.
It has worked well like this so we will leave it, that way there is no obligation either way.
Some of us less fortunate may not have funds to pay for shipping at times it is between the giver and taker to work out........

Sounds like a great idea. I've got some items big & small I could probably gift away :)

So each member can only receive one item over the course of this "event", you say?
Would people hold out on the small items then so that they don't miss out on a bigger/better item?

As for members with more then 1 username they are still considered same member.

Glad to hear it love the spirit, exactly what this is all about "always something to give".

Thing about this process is we need to keep in mind we are all friends and this is something fun and enjoyable to be a part of.
Hopefully no one will be rude or try to take advantage of the process!!
Then we can keep bringing it back hear after year!

Just an Idea, what if, givers send the pics of the items that will be given away to who ever will mod the thread (Jeff). Then set a date and time when all the items will be posted at the same time. So takers will know when to check the thread and pick the item that they want. First to say " I'll take the item (ex. servo from tagasagwan) gets it! That way we can also know who got what already. Multiple items from a single giver may also be given away to multiple takers so that more people may benefit. If I have 5 servos that I want to give to 5 newbies then it should be specified. Same goes if you want to give away a small loot bag.

This just a suggestion. you may accept, decline or modify the idea. Hehehe! I'm trying to make it look like a table format but I can't seem to do it in this post. hehehe!
