    good motors for a villain.

What are some good modded 19T dual brushed motors for a villain? I just picked one up with no motors for 50$. Im trying to stay with stock ESC which is that traxxas marine 14.4 volt. Im gonna be running these batteries http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...c-ib4200-6cell

Thanks for any help in advance.

The Trinity Monster 19 turn motors are the best.

What voltage is your villain originaly set up for 14.4 or 7.2V. The chameleon will not take 14.4V.

14.4v. Also i need to have 0 degrees timing and counter rotation. Is the counter rotation needed if i go to faster motors?

If that is the case Trinity monster or Traxxas Titan which are rated for 14.4V. Not many options for brushed 14.4V 550 motors. Counter rotation is required for the stock villain set up. That is why you need 0 degree.

I will send you a pm. If your ESC is the standard villain 14.4v ....No... but stay with 19T monster motors...lower turns and you may blow the ESC

Douggie is correct. I pointed him in that direction because unlike cars the motors when installed in boats will not get the dirt and grit in the brushes. So they wont ware out fast. Also the armature in the 19T M's is longer for more torque. Just....You can always upgrade your esc to a superduty and get the 17 turn trinity monster's. They have vented solid aluminum endbells. With a pinion gear change you may be able to run them with out an esc upgrade. One of the Villian guys will have to speak up.

very true dirt dont help any, i see thats its a 14.4 villian now, yeah that would be your best bet with motors, and do an octura upgrade kit it allows the use of octura counter rotating x447
