There's the program king. For future references, could you enlighten us all. I think most of us have had issues w programming because of all the different options there seems to be and none of the escs I've seen are clearly labeled as to what 150 or 70 or 200 they are.
    Thanks carl

yepper, I have had my experiences with suppo ESC's.

I have 3 each 200A units and each one takes a different set of programming instructions.

I have different instructions for the suppos and have e-mailed alot of folks those from just about everywhere.

once you find a set that works with your particular suppo esc, NEVER get rid of the instructions.
they come in handy from time to time.

Pretty sure the issue is as I stated above. In summary:

This ESC out of an HK Apparition. The Apparition is supposed to be 3S capable.

BUT in playing with the ESC I am pretty sure it is the MV 70A boat ESC which does not have 3S programming possible. So HK was (ESC's are no longer included, hint hint) selling the boat with NiMH programming and therefore the cutoff was something lower than a 3S (9V).

Bottom line is that I was programming to 4S (though the directions I was using from other Suppo ESC;'s said I was programming for 3S) and the 12V cutoff kept kicking in.

        Thanks for all the help.

As a side issue if I do use auto NiMH cell cutoff what is the cutoff? Is it 3 x .8?

it is .8 volts per cell.

Well it is 8 months later and the boats are in the water.

The issue I am having with the Suppo ESC is under load the motor cuts out. If I give 1/2 throttle the motor stops. If I hold the boat and sit the back end in the water under full power the motor stops. This is with a just in the water cool setup, fresh battery.

Any idea what is causing this? In the other two exact boats I am having not having this problem with a different ESC:http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=17531

I am not positive which Suppo I have but I believe it is a 70 Amp. Running a tacon 3650 2950kv with 3S.

              thanks

If I were you, I would go ahead and buy another of the esc's you have in the other 2 boats.

Those suppos as you have found out as well as others, not the most user friendly units
                made.
