I have the gas black jack.

    Advantage of gas is repeatability
Electrics are cool because there pretty easy to run but with nitro or gas you can go out and run at the same flat out speed for the entire tank, then bring it in, fill it up and go again all day long

      The attraction was:
      1-Something different
2-Very good racing from everyone I've talked to
      3-Run time
      4-Cool looking big boat
5-Price really was pretty reasonable. About on par with one of my P class electrics.
      6-Something else to race!

I love my FE boats, but I will always have a GASSER around!! They are just way too much fun to pass up.. I have 2 Gassers, 1 Aeromarine 43" Cat and 1 WearhouseHobbies Enforcer Team Pro 46" Deep Vee...

The Enforcer will run for 30+ min. without coming in! That is cool sometimes...But very LOUD!!!
Nothing like keeping you lipos warm and your prop wet!!

I started out with gas boats, and will always have a little of every type around.
Started out with a Dumas Scarab 55" with a Homie in it. Now I have 2 QD powered boats and a nitro rigger, along with quite a few electrics.
I have a .90 Roadrunner with a CMB 1.00 in it. You haven't seen white knuckle rc boatin till you have ran a few laps with it. Then add another one or 2 and it get hair raising quick.
As for picking my favorite, I don't think I could, I like all of them even though they all have there cons.

In the pic left is my AC R42, QD RE, center is the Roadrunner, right is an El Lobo 2 (see sig).
