I have a Mean Machine with a 32 engine in it. I just got it running last weekend. It has one of those rewind string starters that gave me hell. I am getting real good at taking it apart for repair. Think I finally fixed it. Hope to run it this weekend if the weather allows, but its not looking good.

I have a 13 yo son that likes his nitro car and wanted to try a nitro boat. He likes it loud and messy. It had an 18 engine in it and he told me it was not fast enough. So here we are with a 32 now. I also wanted to experience something new and find out firsthand what some people like/dislike about them. Already figured out that i hate the pull starters. ha

I've been looking @ gas now for 6 months. I may be able to get away with it around here after all. It's just the storage issue in my case.

raptor, that gas price is right in line with electrics for about the same speed, except that is alot bigger boat..

But the good thing about electrics.
1) no glow plugs
2)no carb tuning
3) no noise viloation laws to worry about
