I want to start of by saying hello to everyone and also to say this is a great site. I am new to FE boats, but. have been into rc electric and nitro cars since the mid 80's. I want to get into these boats, and was looking at the 32 pursuit from kingtech for 425 or the one from ose for 400. Are they diffrent or the same, notive diffrent esc on the one from ose. I am sorry. I have so many questions. What are the run times on these boats. Thank you for a great site and to all for all the information being shared here.

Runtime depends on the batteries used. A 35c 5000mah 4s pack will work with about 4 plus minutes runtime at full speed.Steven Vaccaro

HK Pursuit is ok, I have one, I find it to be a strong hull, but you would have to replace the stock motor and buy an esc separately, also HK sells it with a 2 piece flex cable which wears too easy. Steve has the 1 piece to go in this which is a lot better. If I was looking to buy one again, I'd definitely buy from here.Everything that has a beginning, has an EndComment

As Drax said, the HK boat comes with a substandard motor and esc. The OSE version has a motor and esc that will make the boat perform.Steven Vaccaro

Ok guys remember I am new to this, but from what I have read in 3 days all boats have to have there electrics replaced. Is this the case with the pursuit from ose. And what speeds are u getting with the stock boat from ose. Thank youComment

Dunno stock? Maybe in the high 30's low 40's? The OSE will probably get you in the 50's and that's plenty plenty plenty fast. Almost too fast for comfort if you´re not used to it. You really cannot play around with a boat doing 40+ but speed is what it's all about :-)25" Arrowana with Etti 2970 3300kV. RCMK Flying Cat with twin HOR Outboards. 2 x SSS 4092 2140kV. Faluga 45" with Leo 56110 620 kv on 12s.Comment

Thanks again for taking your time to explain to me.Comment

Speaking as a newbie still I can tell you 40 MPH is faster than hell to the new boater, such as yourself.
Not all rtr boats need the electrics replaced. This boat from OSE just needs the parts to finish it and water. Im not sure if Steven sets them up or does any "inspection" type work. Many of the RTR's need to be inspected and fixed as necessary. Steve would have to answer if this things ready to rock right out of the box or not.42" Osprey, 32" Pursuit, 26" Bling Rocket (rescue), Blizzard Rigger, JAE 21FE rigger, Hobby King rigger (RIP)Comment

You will not need to change the motor or esc in the OSE version as these are great. The motor in the HK version has to be changed for good performance. I have seen the set up from OSE do 43mph on 4sEverything that has a beginning, has an EndComment

i have the one from hobbyking and i had to completley gut it. i wish i would have bought the one from here. it would have been the same price in the long run and a whole lot less time building and more time ripping up the water.Comment
