Has anyone ever run the Elite LiPos listed on http://www.rclipos.com/ web page?

I have run the 5s and 4s 25c elite from http://www.cheapbatterypacks.com/mai...owlipos&sale=Y and they are CRAP!! I now run polyquest 25 & 30c cells and it is like night and day. Have disposed of over $1000 worth of these and will never purchase again. And if you look hard enough you can get 30c PQ cells cheaper!

Here is a direct quote I got from CBP about the newer 30c Elite cells.

" I have some pics coming but not available yet. The cells have been field tested by a well known boat racer and are much better than all the PolyRC and Polyqeust/Tp offerings"

Not yet... But John and Brian used them all last season in P-Monos, TS-2 tunnels, and N2-Monos... All of them seemed to work just fine...... Brian set the new P-Hydro record at the LA SAWs using Elites as well...

I have two 2S and two 4S packs of Elite 30Cs on order, and will be purchasing a set of the 5300 mah cells shortly as well... so I guess we'll see how they compare...

I tested the PolyRc 5350's 7.4v there good to 85 or so amps continus. I check them on my load bar, after 10 min they still were over 7.4v. I only ran them in this new TS2 for some short tests and they seem very nice, thats all I got on them so far.

The 4800's are decent sport packs. Not my choice for high current but work great for SV type applications. The new 30C cells are fantastic.

The 5350's I ran at the LA SAW's are still alive and kicking after seeing pulses over 400 amps. Can't be unhappy with a P sport boat running in the mid 90's or a one way pass of 114 with the P hydro.

FYI, I thought it was interesting that I learned yesterday Hyundai cars, LG Products and good Lipo batteries are made in South Korea. I had not realized this good technology was coming out of that country.

I emailed Mr Hill about the best batteries and this was his reply.

"South Korea, Saehan and Enerland make the best cells
However, these packs from Taiwan may be really good, we do not know at this point."

Yeah I would like to think I would run the Elite Lipos, but for the same money, I can order the PQ 30c packs. Even if they are bargain basement UH.com PQ cells, they I am sure are still better then some offbrand "Elite" cell. Not that there is anything wrong with it, but knowing what I know about packs and manufactors claims I DOUBT that in anyway or form a Elite 30c pack is as good or better then a PQ 30c.

Someone with some $$$$$$ needs to get a couple of these packs each and a data logger......But even at that, say they have higher voltage under load(Elite)...what about the life span? The only polyquest pack I have had take a crap on me was my fault. I deep-discharged it and puffed it.

Ehhhht thats my take....Maybe when I get 130$ to burn one day i'll try a set of Elite 30c 2s1p packs and see how they hold up.

South Korean electronic products are top notch.
