It never has and never will run 6s. I would destroy my setup. See my post above yours. I put those packs in just to see if they would fit.

Also the prop is the stock one that kintec provides with there boats
First, I'd recommend raising the prop NOT lowering it. As for the cavitation, I think it is the stock prop which seems to cavitate a bit before taking off. Any of the suggested prop should cure this.

Time your run so that you won't over-run the packs which may cause them to plum up!!

This has nothing to do whether you have a BEC or RX pack, but pushing every bit of the amp out of the pack will heat up the cells and eventually the pack will look like a football. Once I had so much fun and forgot about the run time, I had one of my hard case packs crack opened because the cells popped!

Well when I get to 4s 2p setup I shouldn't have to worry about heat right??

Wrong!! Even though you connect the packs in parallel and in your case 2 sets of 4 cell packs, you double the capacity. So if you are using 2x4S 4000 mAh packs, you will get 8000 mAh total. Let say if the single pack gives you 3.5 minute run time, so when you have 2 packs in parallel you should run it within 7 minutes or less. It is "less" because now the boat is heavier too. However, after 5 minutes everything may get hotter than before especially if you are running at full speed most of the time.

What I am trying to say is that, know your maximum run time and do not overdo it.

I am new to this HIGH power boat stuff (i got tons of 2-6s trucks).....i do know what u mean when i run it on a single 4s 5000mah the batteries get hot but when i ran the 3s setup (2x3s 4000mah) which gave me great runtimes 8-10min... after that run nothing was hot the motor got warm.... like mabe 100 degrees...

Been there done that. Remember one thing, boat is direct drive (more than 90%, I believe)but ALL cars are geared thus the load to the motor from boat is much higher. Also first you mentioned 4s2p for the boat but when you switch your car's pack from 4s to 2x3s...different stories then.

What kind of mph gain should I see with the two props you suggested over my stock prop and are these props bigger or is it just a different pitch
