So, I have a rigger that will only balance correctly if one of the lipos sits 3mm below the end of the motor. The last thing I want is the lipo to be exposed to the temps the motor may reach.
Consequently, I'm looking at sliding some fireproof material between the lipo and the motor. I'm thinking some fiberglass should be sufficient, but haven't run into this issue that I can remember.
Has anyone else run into this close proximity issue before and what fireproof materials have you used to isolate the component that may be sensitive to higher heat?
Thanks!
