An update I received from Alsa Corp regarding the chrome product and their paint's compatibility with other brand primer/fillers.

      Dear Jarret,

Thank you for inquiring. The killer chrome kit or cans will provide you with a 90% chrome finish on any paintable surface. The cans are about 13 oz and can cover about 10 to 15 square feet. We have the cans at $39.99 (USD) or you can do a kit for $115.00 (USD). The kit will include the black basecoat the killer chrome and the can of clear coat, all the necessary components to make the chrome finish work. Please feel free to contact me to place an order of for any questions that you may have.

We do not offer any primer or filler in a spray can. You can use any brand outhere as they are all complatible with our products.

      Thank you.

Just some thought,, Reading through this thread, I paint cars (classic) on the side, and have been doing so for 20+ years, I have a avenger pro that I re-sprayed with white gel coat, it had stress cracks that I didn't like, sanded it down, and now Im airbrushing my paint scheme on it, when done I will respray the boat with clear gel-coat, the thought, Base clear is good on cars, but I dont think the clear would hold up with all the flexing going on with a boat. even if you add flex additive... The gel coat is hard as nail's. I dunno, we shall see how it turns out in a couple of week's. And as far as the rattle can paint from alsacorp, good stuff, but if its hot out, 2day pot life at most, then it sprays like $%&*.
          Just my 2 cents

Thank you for sharing! I have two boats in mind for the Killer Can's project so I assume I'll be using most, if not all, of the paint on those two projects. Shelf life isn't as much as a concern as is a really nice color and a great finish.
