i checked out blazermarine, and they have only wood boats, i have seen a few glass boats or maybe its a different model?

Incorrect. Some of their boats are fiberglass. The Sport 20 only comes in wood.

If you want a glass boat look at my avatar picture. Thats a Phil Thomas Stealth hull. Roughly the same size as a Whiplash.

I have 4 of them. Haven't seen a glass 20. There's a glass gas sport Whip.

looking at the website today, it looks like the gas hull is the only glass one available. It must be new since I have seen several of the gas hulls at local races and they were all wood.

I like the new Backlash too but it wont fit the FE Sport rules. I think someone said it didn't fit the 65% rule.

If you don't race though who cares. Go fast, turn right.

I was going to build it as a FE boat but I have way to many projects.

you guys are awsome! with tons of knowledge im kinda new to FE last year i bought a miss vegas and ul-1 destroyed the ul-1 on first run due to a runnaway and converted the vegas to fe.
since then always had the bug but been persuing my goal of chassis sponsorship for 1/8 racing. thanks again for all your info. but properchopper (tony) has talked me into the INSANE FE30 !!!!

The FE30 certainly is super builder-friendly and can be ordered in varing states of pre-build. Fast and driver-friendly as well. I'll also guide you through the build if needed
