The water jackets are from this site OSE for the Fieago XLs and they were a tight fit so I oiled them first. The video will have to wait unless you can cut a trench in the ice for me,MN / WI lakes are still bad.Forgot to mention I am using wire drives and Octura X442s modded with 110mm Fighter cat stingers. This hull and hardware are a very nice combo with lots of room.

Fantastic job! I really like the way the window on the hatch looks. Nice to see something different.

Nice build. No offense, but you should have re-inforced the hull. I have one,and its thin and flimsy. Good luck with it and Ill be watching for a video soon as your ice melts.

I did, I filled the front with minimal expanding foam over 3 days and built a fiberglass bulkhead sealing the front off. Then I painted it white to seal from water. The motor mounts to the transom is connected in resin and the stinger bolt plate is 1/4" thick. It is all one unit on each side. The hull was more than twice as strong as my EKOS hull before I started and now it's very rigid. The rudder plate in the transom is also 1/4" fiberglass with 4mm threads cut into the glass like the 3mm ones on the stingers.I never weighed my EKOS but this one is 6.1lbs complete W/O the big battery packs,800mah for the BEC is in the weight.

Good to hear it. I hate to see or hear about any hull cracked up or broke open because it was ran "as is". Great job on the build.

Beautiful job! Can't wait to see how those Tacon motors do.

I made a pair of coolers for a pair of 5050kv Tacons like yours, pretty easy for me & my lathe.

That thing is going to sound great with the 5050kv motors, they will hear you coming from the other side of the lake. Are you going to use 2s or 3s ?
