    I beg to differ. I ran mine in chop over 2" and had no issues. The key is weight. I ran mine with 2, 5000 mah 20c packs for 4S, with a 3656 2600kv motor. Too much power though. IMO, a best suited motor would be a 2300 or 2000kv. But the Castle 3424 outrunner I ran in there moved it pretty well too. Just needed a bigger prop, other than the Grim 42x55 prop that I was running. Maybe an x447 with the outrunner would seen better suited.

    Here is how mine is configured. I bought the hull with hardware from Blackcat on this forum. Couldn't be happier!

          thanks brad...she is running but im gonna have to change esc...it went to crapola, looks like a seaking 180 is going in now

              I agree to a certain extent. It also depends on how your boat is rigged and the design of the hull IMO. My DF mini sniper will hang in choppy water, due to the deep angle on the vee, but with a 3s 5000mah pack she only ways around 3 1/2 pounds!

                    I agree. A deep V will do way better than this on the same chop, but these little guys sure are fun!
