Just got this mono and been building it up, running a fiego and 60 amp esc on 4s in series, what is the setting on the corner tabs for handling and what effect does it have whether you move foward, back or up and down for handling and prop recommendations.....want some run time

By corner tabs do you mean turn fins? If so they help the boat turn. They dig into the water when you turn and keep the hull from sliding sideways or hopping. Run them where they work well in the corners, but if they are down in the water and dragging when going straight and planed out, you may want to tip them up a bit to minimize drag.
You definitely need to consider motor kv and cell count when choosing a prop. -
Bad thing is i dont know what kv that feigo is, theres no markings on it that i could see, i may pull it and shove it in my crawler, its short enough. Thanks for the tips there keith, now that i got the esc issue resolved i may get to make a pass tomorrow and do some tuningComment

I wouldnt risk running an unkown kv motor on a 60a speedo. BTW, it looks kinda short, is it a 540L?? If so and its in the 1700-2000 kv range(if you can find out), you can run it with the 60a ESC on 4s if you prop correctly, and it should do well.NEED PARALLEL CONNECTORS?? QUALITY 5.5MM, 8MM, 8 AND 10 AWG, GET THEM HERE:http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...est!&highlight=

The first run was ok with it but do these boats seem soggy taking off?, i tried a 3 blade thats 32mm ...was just layin around, it does have some good speed but gonna adjust stinger and try again, have a 2 blade from the geico that i thought about trying, believe its a 36mmComment

If its the 10s Feigao that was in the ad with that boat you wont want to run it on 4s. That would be more of a 2s motor, maybe 3s with a small prop. Very high kv if you want to go fast with that hull.Comment

I run mine with the stinger parallel with the keel. I dont have trim tabs- dont need 'em. So I would run those perfectly flat. The turn fins run so that if you were on a turn only the sharp part is in the water. By the pic it looks like the flat part would be in the water.
60A esc???? Seriously??? OK for a tiny prop I guess.
I just dropped a 4074 2000KV and a HW 150A ESC in mine. GOnna run with an X440/3. A K42 works good also.

well this was a esc i had setting around and keith thanks for the motor info, i do believe it is the same motor from the original ad posted here, im just trying to get it dialed in atm and i do have a 125 amp turnigy im goning to drop in it and see if she will fire on it, had some glitches in that esc but reprogrammed it. Im working on the lid right now, installed front u-pin and drilled hull for it so it will stay put, cant run the hatch locks due to the curves lid has so i going to install a machine bolt in center on rear, heres a pic of hatch so far, did this on my genesis and it works great, after i finish the boat im going to strip her and redo the hull, its really in good shape, i was surprised and im really picky, brad did me right on this buy.Comment

im wanting to really build a boat that will run times like the geico stock but with a bit more power, how do these mono handle the waves? id think being a v hull they do quite well but may be wrong, been blowing here for two weeks now...im getting a little pee-od tat mamma nature wont give me a good day. I have to test 3 boats that had some changes done and theres no way im gonna open them up...........just gonna be a crashComment

These dont do to well in waves/chop in my experience. Anything much over 2" is to rough for it.42" Osprey, 32" Pursuit, 26" Bling Rocket (rescue), Blizzard Rigger, JAE 21FE rigger, Hobby King rigger (RIP)Comment

The tip on turn fins! I was told by Ken Joyce of Mich. to run turn fins just above the keel like MR. Bradley stated for drag purposes. I run a 10s in my No Step 1 on 2s. KV is 3583 with a fully charged lipo ( 8.3 ) = 29,738 and is jacket cooled with a 632 octura prop. No trim tabs are needed on No Step 1. It has 1 turn fin and turns on a dime.Comment
