    Tom,
The 1515 1Y is 2200kv. Very sweet motor on 4s.

      Tom,

It's all about the geometry of the hulls... The Miss Vegas was NEVER intended to break much over 40mph... so the angles and aerodynamics on it aren't optimum to take advantage of the power that a Neu 1515 1Y on 4S can deliver... Something like a Blazer Marine Whiplash Sport 21, which is also 30" long, has the hull design to allow it to achieve over 90mph in a straight line at the hands of someone like Brian Buaas on 4S... The Vegas would never be able to do that... Simply a matter of hull design...

Doesn't mean the Vegas can't be made to go... You'd just have to study the design and maybe mod some of the angles, etc., to get some lift out of it and get the air out from underneath it more cleanly...

OH, and YES, the 1515 1Y is a SWEEET motor on 4S, both in a Mono or a Sport Hydro... speaking in RACING terms at least... though it should work fine for monitored fun running as well, just keep an eye on temps...

I run the same 1515/1Y in a P-Sport H&M 31" Sport Hydro, on 4S2P and it is wonderful!! I love that motor, lots of torque!!!
Nothing like keeping you lipos warm and your prop wet!!

Perfect because that's all I am looking for our of it. I want to run it with in its design parameters & would like to get it as close to the nitro power as possible. I believe the guys up in north Jersey & NYC run a Vegas class. They where mixing FE and fuel classes last time I read the Dist-1 home page. As Always thank guys for guiding me along :).

SJFE so what Darin was saying too imo is true that hull cant take full advantage of
my set up because of hull design so im trying diffrent low cost set ups in my vegas now i cant see spending the money on a high dollar race set up and i can go the same speed on a low cost set up. Now im looking for a hull that can work good with my Neu set up, mono, cat, hydro what do you think Darin which hull would be the best for all out speed and handling??????????????????????

Tunda I would go for one of the 35" or so cats. A Jolly, BK, H&M, Lindeu or Hopf....Just my cents:).

No Sir it is most certainly not. I had attemped to just recentley. My Lovely wife noticed & advised me it would not be in my best interest..and not so politley either. . Seems she thinks I would just replace it with another 500$+ big cat in a few months....go figure

Witch is the case here also..BUT in this instance the jolly is not replaceable for a couple reasons. Our first child due in may being the main one :). The scond being I don't have enough inventory to generate the kind of funds I'd need for a replacment once sellers remorce sets in...lol
