I built the mount into the boat like the predator used a piece of 1/8 plywood. I made the tub a little wider because of the wires come of to the side on the battery i think the car packs would be a better fit?

I know the predetor is an older design, but it seems to fit the bill in terms of being able to run a car setup in it, plus I am always tight on cash having a family and home to pay/fix/repair, babysitters, ect, ect. And the predator is on sale for $45 at fine design right now. I also know that Chris Fine has had alot of press about him, both good and bad, so lets keep that out of the disscusion. Truthfully I would much rather buy a boat from offshore or Randy, but I am on a super thin budget as it is. (not saying your boats are expensive Randy, the predator is just super cheap right now.)
Get a set of plans for the JAE then scale to your desired size and build it yourself, that is how I do it actually I do some very weird cut and paste stuff but never mind
Have a quick search on some of my builds.....some are old and some are not so old but all are somehow interesting.
          Just a suggestion.
          See it....find the photos.....sketch it it....build it........with wood

I was looking at the stats and wishing for the high RPM motor for the SAW boat in N2.

i built a predator a long time ago, it was in my apartment with a scroll saw, now I am married to the girl that let me do it in the apartment, have a house with a giant basement all to myself, but I have absolutly no time to cut wood.

Randy 3 turn and under car motors are not super popular, have you tried an orion or a tekin yet?
