Thanks, but I think I'll buy 2 new ones this way if there is a malfunction I can return one if needed.

Tower has a deal on them, one for $255 or if you buy 2 its $489 for both and free shipping. Though I would still buy them from OSE if they were in stock.

Hmm, do you need to arm your esc after each time you have shot down at full throttle to make it going again? If so replace your caps and add or use stronger ones... This was exactly my problem with UL-1 ESC once and after replacing cap with stronger one the problem was gone....
        These are my 0.2C

I just want a bigger ESC so I can eliminate the ESC being too small as the problem.

I did add the big ETTI cap board and it didn't seem to help. The strange thing is that it didn't shut down every time. I would say one or the other would shut down 50% of the time and only after holding full throttle for more than 2 seconds.

I'm just tired of messing with them, I think they are just not strong enough for this setup. The boat weighs 30 pounds with twin Leopard 5692 1340 Kv motors and 6017/3 props.

When I built this boat I went with the best of everything, Spektrum radio, MHZ drives, carbon fiber, large hull, large motors and batteries. The only thing I skimped on was the ESC's to save a few bucks.

I have over $2500.00 into this boat, whats another $600.00 for the best ESC's right?

I went to the Horizon Hobby website and they had the new Castle Hydra ICE 240s "in stock" so I ordered 2 of them and the Castle Link programmer.

But of course when I got the order confirmation one of the ESC's is back ordered.
