depends on potential of becoming an FE freak. My dad LOVES his Fastech, but then he is still running NiMH and is not looking to make anything go faster. If it were my first boat, I would go Vee, as it is more versatile and you always need a vee in your fleet. I wouldn't personally go with an SV27, due to tendency to flip, whereas the Fastech seems to have more of a knack to land wetsidedown more often (plus I really like Proboat's looks). I would probably shortly thereafter add a MG to my fleet... gotta have each hull type, but the MG being faster it is a tad more touchy than the Fastech.

in the end I say one of each: Fastech and Geico.
    "Look good doin' it"

Thank you all for all of the input!! I picked up a Miss Geico yesterday at my local hobbyshop and awaiting an order from OSE for some connectors and an order from Hk for some Lipos. Thanks to Diesel for the help with the links in the MG thread. Thanks again for all of the help.

I was looking at kintecracing.com to have a look at the Pursuit
Nice boat with all the upgrades already
My question is it said it runs on 4s?
Is that 2x2s=4s or do they mean it runs on 2x4s=8s

                Thanks

it means you can run two 2s packs series, or two 4s packs parallel

ok so running in series basically means you add the number of cells in each pack to get the total. ex. 2s 5000mah + 3s 5000 mah = 5s 5000mah. running parallel means the cell count stays the same and the mah is doubled ex. 4s 5000mah + 4s 5000mah = 4s 10,000 mah
