I would go 4S. 2 of those motors is a lot of power for this boat. The boat becomes rather unstable close to or over 60mph. Still manageable but you want to ha e usable power. If it were me, I would go with 4s and prop up as needed. Higher RPM's will also load up your ESCs more risking possible overload failure. My Geico on 4s 2p with a 1512 2650 is almost undrivable on other than smooth water. It looks awesome but not very practical.

Neu batteries can be found here.

Those 3S 5000mah packs are a great deal! Too bad they're out of stock.

Here's some input. Id go 5s on those motors. Less amp draw and high rpm isn't a bad thing. I run 41,000rpm in my silver twin. No heat issues at all and its fast. Will you post the link for the batteries? I'm in bad need of some and wouldn't mind trying something different other than Turnigys.

The wing wouldn't be a bad idea if you can make it hold. I might have to copy you! Someone in the video mentioned that it caught a head wind but I was running with the wind when it happened. Headwind was heading away from the camera. A fellow boater that runs a Neu 1415 2700 kv motor flipped his the way I did mine but he busted his canopy in to pieces. I'm going to glass my canopy this week before the next time out.

It does not need a wing I just had my cog too far back.

Right, I will try this first of course.

Hopefully I can shimmy the weight forward between the ESC's and packs.

Motors and water jackets came in today...

Motors fit well. Not to sure on the water jackets. I ordered the XL versions to get the most cooling. I think it was a mistake. It seems to fit, but the fitting will be in one ODD spot.

Im going to get some bolts Wednesday and get this together.

                                Pics:
