    Ms Geico Twin revisited

As some may know I picked up the Miss Geico twin from Black Cat.
    http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...ighlight=geico

Im looking for suggestions/ideas on motors. I would like to run 4S if possible.

I combed thru his thread and found some suggestions or used motors:

    Leopard LBP4050/4Y @ 2260 KV
    Turnigy 3656 2600 KV
    Scorpion 3026 1600 KV

Im a bit shy of the Scorpions or an outrunner as I dont have a means of crafting any water cooling. If I could buy something affordable I would be fine with an outrunner.

Planned props right now are X447's counter rotating of course.

Looking to get this rebuild going, soon. Its tax season

I am running the suppo motors Ben sells. They are similar size & wattage rating to the scorpions and 1600kv. Once i blow these up (if i do) I will grab the same scorpions he used. I am not running any cooling what so ever to my motors and so far so good. Haven't had any issues with them running in a 32" HOR cat...

Fightercat57 is his OSE name. Here's the motor I used. Their the same as the HK motors. Actually mine said turnigy on them. Suppo is the maker. http://fightercatracing.com/index.ph...chk=1&Itemid=1

Outrunners don't really need cooling unless there is an amperage draw issue caused by too much load. The beauty of them is that since the can spins they cool themselves. The 3424 castle outrunner in my Geico doesn't get over 90*, even on 6s. Don't worry about cooling them. Just go for it!

Im not sure if the longer can will fit. I have a 4074 here so I will see if that will fit today.

I think the 40 might fit- just run into a length issue.

I will look into those motors Diesel.

                  watch from 1,40 for 5s.

Only thing with that motor is the solder on the wires inside the can, mine fell off with 6s, and it's not a chance to get them back on.

                  I got this now:

The Tacon motors are the same thing for a fraction of the price. Something to keep in mind.

Ok gang the motors will be here tomorrow.

Im looking into batteries right now after seeing the Hyperion Vs Turnigy thread.

With 2150 kV and X447 props. I will be using the 180 Amp ESC's.

Trying to decide between 4S and 5S. I want to buy the Neu batteries while they are cheap. They are only $4 a pack or so more than the Turnigy...

                              So 4S= 31,820
                              5S= 39,775

I want to go fast but I got one shot at buying batteries for this...

I know Blackcat was a fan of high RPMs... Again or play it safe?
