    10S Pursuit

I know this is overkill, but as a HV addict i just have to give it a try.

The battery in the boat is just there for display as i am waiting for 40c lipo`s.

    Motor Neu 1521 1,5y (1050kv)
    ESC Etti 200A HV
    Prop Prather 230, X642 and X645
    Batt 10s 5000mAh lipo

It turned out rather heavy ( RTR 4,15kg or 9,150 pounds) But every room is filled with flotation.

Let me know what you think.

    Cheers Lasse

Wow, Cant wait to see a video. Mine is overpowered with a 1521 1y on 6s1p. Hope you added carbon or cloth to the bottom of hull. They are weak at best. Best of luck.

NEU 1521 1,5y is ratet for 60K max rpm and 57volt max.

I dont see why 40000 rpm for a short time will be a problem?

Because it's rated to 60k rpm's and will be running in the 35-37,000 range under load.................. He doesnt need to go gonzo on the prop though, starting smaller. Its a bit high but should be fine.

That motor cab and will handle that rpm. Keep the prop size down, and check temps. It should be just fine.

I understand (not that I necessarily agree) your rational but do you also think that the controller will keep up with that rpm?

The controller doesnt care at all what rpms the motor is running....it only supplies the voltage.

^^ Not 100% true, the ESC has to be able to handle switching fast enough to keep up as well. Depending on the number of poles and the ESC, it might be faster than the ESC can handle.
Light travels faster than sound, so people may appear to be bright until you hear them speak.
