I hope your not planning on running those stock traxxas nimh batteries with the castle motor. You'll need some decent lipos to power that motor.

Id run the 1520 motor and the 180 amp esc with two 3s packs wired in series for 6s in the Spartan.It should run good,but start with a smaller prop-say, an X442.Then if temps are cool,try an X445.

For 6s, I'd get a HV esc to be safe. The Swordfish HV 240 is a good esc at a good price. Running esc's at the limits can have a heavy price to pay. It isn't the place to skimp.
