Problems with HobbyKing shipping?

guess im lucky one here, ordered the genesis and a week later it was at my door.....the tracking is spooky to follow but arrived in great condition...(not to rub anything in here)....and how do we get hooked up with the state side store, ive seen the advertisment saying its open but unsure how to get there, any ideas or did i miss something in another post

I ordered two NanoTech LiPos from Hobby King on December 3rd with Registered AirMail ($25) shipping...NOTHING!

Did you try to use the live chat ? I just did , and I was chatting away with Rick in 15 sek's. The only shipping option I get from the German warehouse is 67 dollar express, no matter what I order, and that was a little to much, but that was how it was , Rick could informe me..

I ordered a set of LiPos from the USA Warehouse and got them within a week...now HK says to trace my latest order through the post office, so I did and the NanoTech LiPos I ordered "left Zurich on 13 December 2010" and that was the end of the story...no LiPos and no $175...crap!

The 1 order I placed that wasn't EMS took 16 days. My last EMS order was at my door in 3 days. I will never order other than EMS again.

hobbyking is hit or miss and there customer service if there is any probelms is absolute CRAP! Take it like this, i have placed 3 orders from there between dec 15 and january 10th. the first order i placed on dec15 for 4 lipos i had shipped the EMS express and it still took untill january 8th, the next order i placed decemeber 30 for my apparition boat and shipped it registered airmail and it somehow got here 2 business days after my lipos, go figure? then my last order i placed for a wattmeter and got the cheapest shipping possible and it showed up 2 days ago, which was like a 7 business days. Crazy, but IMO i would never pay the EMS shipping again, seems its no faster for me in BC than the registered airmail option thats cheaper.

Hobbyking satellite warehouses ship stuff with authority to leave unsigned on your doorstep.. Be aware. ! .. only originating from HK get tracking and signed release digital trail.
It works out cheaper for me to buy from HK direct, and wait another few days than ship from storage warehouse and hope no pillock nicks the stuff from my porch before I get home..
Stuff sent via Swissmail are backlogged due the crap weather in Eu.
Express Vs std shipping.. USPS express Vs Std is 1 day different to Au !!!

Europe, Asia, N.America, Etc....
You need to understand there will allways be someone who is not happy with their service...
I am waiting 3 months now for ESC warranty replacement.....Long time but that is ok.
If I did not like to shop there I would not!

Let me offer some help, I was quite obviously sharing that out of that many orders, all have gotten to me, and have been on time. I'm sure others will find your post with zero content about the thread more helpful.

Yeah I think MaW was just trying to show you that he has never had an issue. Like most, Im also one w/ many orders, 28 to be exact. Crazy things happen in shipping from over seas. You just have to be patient and wait. ie, I made a few orders around the end of Dec. One of which a week ealier than the other. The one ordered a week later (both same registerd air mail as Im in no hurry for them) is supposed to arrive today. The other (ordered a week before) only says its ready to leave its origin. (HK) Im not worried one bit as Ive always recived the products.

I wouldnt worry about it, Chinese New year last year had shipping all kindsa screwed up. I waited 5 weeks for an EMS order that I would have usually recieved in 10 days or less. And I did use the help line and never had a problem w/ communication. I always received and email back w/ in a few hours, sometimes minutes, during thier buisness hours.

If this was no help to you , I hope it at least sets your mind at ease as Im sure thats what MaW was trying to accomplish.
