Cheaper... and less for your money.
Plus the transom is no longer reinforced and is prone to cracks.

I know that. Not lipo ready but it is 2.4ghz isnt it? I've never ran a sv but isn't it prone to flipping? I think a lot more r&d has gone into the miss geico Too.

          Thanks for your help

I'm almost convinced to choose Miss Geico...
I have to look for a good price, to decide for MG or SV,

Anyone know where can I find a good price and preferably in Europe

Most things in the UK are very expensive compared with the USA, Whatever the price is in the USA in dollars we end up paying the same number but in UK pounds & their are 1.55 US dollars to the UK pound. If we buy direct from say OSE or any other supplier in the US its no cheaper than us buying from a UK supplier. Because by the time shipping is added on to the price of the boat we then have to pay import duty which i think is around 5% of the price of the boat & shipping added together. Then we have to pay vat (value added tax) on the total price of the boat + shipping + 5% import, Which is a further 20% on all 3 of these other prices & finally the post office generaly put a charge on as well for collecting all this tax. So if the boat is say 350 US dollars it ends up costing us £350 UK pounds ( around 542 US dollars)+ you have the hassle hoping it turns up & isnt damaged. Thats why the UK is refered to as rip off Britain. Thanks Martin.

I hear ya. I paid £70 import tax on my venom P1. It makes me so angry the price of stuff and the amount of tax we pay in the UK.

I looked at a UL1 today in a UK shop & it was £409 ( $634 ), Their on OSE for $299 but still not much cheaper buy the time it arrives in the UK after all the extras are added + factor in any problens with shipping. I also looked at a Spartan that was £419 ( $649 ). Think yourself lucky in the US you dont pay the prices we do over here, They would sell a lot more boats over here if the prices were more competative & not have them sitting on the shelve with people just looking at them. Thanks Martin.
