    Piranha 600 VS Surge Crusher

    Hi, rookie needs help.

    Want to buy my first "Fast Electric Rc Boat, " but did not want to do without knowing your views...

    I want a Fast and Maneuverable Model and options for Mod, and not spending much money...

    Because they are different I have doubts between these two: the type of Hull and model...

    Or let me ideas and there's nothing like an SV27 (and let my woman beat me).

    1º- Piranha 600 Brushless V-Hull

    2º- Surge Crusher Brushless Twin-Hull

    3º - Aquacraft Supervee 27

    Please Vote in Your Opinion:

    * Piranha 600.
    * Surge Crusher.
    * Supervee 27.
    * Another who prefer.

    Thanks, and Sorry for my English

        Here are some shot's of my S Crusher. Got it used last fall, and changed the motor to a typhoon 500 and the esc to a hobbyking 180 amp ( that thing is to big for the boat, but the 120 was out of stock.) prather 215 prop.

        This spring, I'm going to convert it down a bit so my boy's can toy with it and I will get a Miss Geico.

        Stock motor and esc:

          A stock sv-27 and a set of inexpensive turnigy 2s lipos will give you hours of fun!!

            My vote is for the SV... Was my first brushless boat. Every boat I got from HK took me days to gut, re-inforce and dump the cheap stuff.

                  For a newbie I would always advise to go for a true RTR. I had a blackjack 26 as my first boast and that ran great but when I bought a NTN-600 from HK I just could not get it to run right and had to get rid of it in the end because it was so hard to setup. I'm still a newbie myself and find it more pleasurable in terms of fun running a RTR and tinkering with that. I'm running a venom P1 at the mo and that's not perfect but I can enjoy using it while making adjustments to improve the handling.

                      SV or Miss Geico. Stay away from the Piranha and Surge Crusher!

                        Me to, I'm getting the Geico this spring.

                        but I will keep the SC as it's a fun boat, just a bit narrow to work on, hard to get a 180 amp and lipos in there :-)

                              I would say miss geico too, but isn't the sv27r cheaper?
