I have the supo 200 form fightercat and first run with it it got up to 190. Planning on adding a cap on it now. We will see how long it lasts, running it on a 4047 4s x642 in a miss g. So far got it up to 52 mph. Now working on getting it to stop blowing over...

The himodel 200 is actually super easy to set up... It's basically plug and play... Auto sets the timing.... They seem to work great unless you push em to up close to their rating... I personally would use this esc with 540xl's, and low kv 1515 and smaller neu's as well as leopards, and the like.... I ran one in a df33 with a 1521 1y.... Didn't line the amp spikes cornering hard... Poof... Did no damage to hull or motor so was only out $50.... A cheap day at the lake:) good esc for the money...

I would only buy the ones from Fightercat, with the added cooling plates in between.

In fact I bought 2 already.

                Just my $0.02

PS: No, I don't get paid by him for advertisment... But I wouldn't mind that either...

The problem with the Suppo ESC is heat dissipation. If using the throttle often, it will generate more heat. Increasing the problem.

If I were building something for a youth, I would use a more commercial quality ESC with warranty.

Chances are it would work OK for your application.
