Whats the best way to make a 30" Cat turn fast?

My buddies cat is fast in a straight line but cant corner very well.
    What needs to be adjusted?
Its got an off set rudder at the moment.

    Thanks!

Is it a narrow hull like the actual full size off shore boats?
If so, I believe that even the small ones have to slow down to make te turns.

If it is an Areomarine hull, it should nail the turns with no problems.

The Apparition isnt a good boat in the turns. The Geico is much better.
Aeromarines will be the best for FE in the turns.

I'm assuming thats because miss geico is a little wider.
          Or is it something else?

Try adding a Skeg style Strut. It will hold the turns much better.

            Thanks,

i actually have a mean machine on order..
Aeromarine dont seem to return emails though and dont know when to expect it.
I have no luck with rc boat companys when it comes to emails.

                  Brit;
That is normal for Remmy at Areomarine. You need to give them a call. Best time is either just when they open or about 10:00A.M. Eastern.

I have been dealing with them for decades. Good folks but the phone is the ansrwer.

Rolling over or sliding out.. Whats it doing?? If it wants to slide, try a deeper rudder. I have a twin set up and had a single. Both cornered very well IMO.

Try tucking the bottom of the rudder forward. This will pull the nose up in a turn and keep it from hooking and rolling over.

Keep the offset rudder on for sure.what i do to all my cats is place them flat on my set-up board, which is a cheap fold out 2x3 table with a notch cut out for the rudder/strut,and look at the inside edges of the sponsons/ride pads.they should both be sitting relatively flat on the table,if not i will build up the ride pads with body filler and sand them so they are pretty uniform, but the trick to make better handling is to get the inside edge of ride pad sharp by sanding the body filler with a sanding block and getting a nice sharp edge on the inside edge and bottom of pad.that will make a tremendous difference in handling in the turns.good luck
