I'll give them until the end of the week. That will be a full 7 days from the time I ordered. If I don't hear anything I'll try contacting MHZ Germany. But I shouldn't have to do that.

I really hope the order comes in by next week so I can start this project. I just hate not knowing whats going on. A simple email saying your order will ship on XXX date would have made me happy.

I can't remember where that ladies contact info for MHZ Germany is. Can someone point me in the right direction? I need to know what is going on here. I'm going to be ready to start this build by this time next week and no drive hardware will stop me dead before I can even get started.

I also called them this morning, I can tell the number is a cel phone. I left a message asking about my order status and I have gotten no response. How can these people make any money?

Am I being to persistent here? Is it unreasonable to expect a return email from a person or a phone call letting me know what is happening with my order? Damn its not like the items are coming from Egypt. They are coming from a place that is a 2 hour car ride away in the same state.

I better start looking for alternate drives and rudder incase this goes sideways and I have to file a dispute with paypal.

Yes I sure was, but like an idiot I didn't listen. Their stuff is super nice, but it does no good if all I can do is look at it on the internet.

If they were closer I would go knock on their door.

I'm already looking for an alternative.

Contacting MHZ directly will do no good, Loo is an independent contractor, not an employee. They can do nothing. Good luck.

I did contact MHZ directly. Got another auto reply saying they are out of the office until 11/22/2010.

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever seen, especially for a company selling such expensive items.

Not even close to what I was getting from MHZ but at least it will look more scale. I emailed that website and Werner replied back within a few hours with all kinds of helpful information. It could take at least a week for this hardware to arrive from Germany and if it does arrive before the MHZ order I will cancel the MHZ order and file a dispute with paypal. If I end up with both sets of hardware well then at least I have options and I can sell what I don't use.

I would complain to Ernest or Shirley from MHZ.Germany !
If I was Ernest I would search another guy for the job in the USA.

His hardware is da bomb, and so is Werner.
( I think he has some Dutch blood in his vains, hahahahaha )

btw : Do you have nuts/bolts in METRIC ?, if not : just ask Werner for "Rostfreies befestigungsmaterial" ( = stainless steel )

I did send an email to MHZ Germany but the email was a general address. I don't think it went directly to anyone in particular.

I haven't bought the stuff from Werner yet, just waiting on his reply on how to send payment. Does he take paypal?

Finally I got a reply from MHZ. I'm guessing it was because of the phone message I left an hour before the email came in. I basically said if I don't get some kind of response by days end I will cancel the order and file a dispute with paypal.

Shortly after leaving that message I get this email.

Dear Sir,
We apologize for the delay in processing your order; the drives were back-ordered but are in stock again now.
You should receive shipping info in a separate e ail by tonight.
We have taken a note of the shipping address change.

sorry for my late reply but beacuse of a extrenal training course MHZ is closed from 09.11 - 21.11.2010

I´m really sorry to hear about you problems with Mr. Loo.

The problem is that we received many of this complaints about the MHZ customer service before.
This is why we cancelled our contract with Mr. Loo Yap as our MHZ USA branch manager.
Therefore he will not sell MHZ products after the end of this year anymore.

After I read your email it seems to me like he doesnt even respond to his emails and orders now.

Therefore please try to get you money back with paypal! Please do not order at MHZ USA again since they are not allowed to sell our products anymore.

I´m sorry I cant offer you more help.

In future please feel free to order from MHZ headquarter in Germany directly.
We will take care of our customer orders and emails right away. (If we do not have a training course :-) )
