I have only been @ this seriously for a year. There are 50 to 60% more options now for motors,esc's & power not to mention some great rtr boats. This is just since last year. It's what keeps me interested..and broke....lol

The faster speeds are great, Im really excited (assuming they hold up) I could save almost 60% in batt costs for a season. :D
