What a difference a few years makes

Alan Nayman just reported that he ran a Ammo 2300 motor in a 29" hydro at 44mph on 4s1p lipos. It wasn't long ago that we used to have to pay big money to run those speeds with exotic Plet motors that cost more than most wanted to spend!

By the way, in no way am I suggesting that this is the only motor in that price range that can do that! I'm just in awe at how far things have advanced.

I've been TRYING to tell you guys for months that the AMMO motor with 4S1P Elite 4800s in a Dark Horse Shovel is what set the new 5/8-mile National heat racing record this year at the Nationals... Something like 62-seconds for 5-laps... and that's with a stuff and restart on lap 4 going into turn 1...

Just have to make sure to water cool the can... they don't disapate heat well... but they are VERY fast...

Sheesh... WHY won't anyone ever listen to me when it comes to this stuff??? :D

First Neu motors... then lipos and paralleling... now this... Good Grief... What's a guy got to do to earn a little "credibility" around here??? :D

(Just kidding around guys... relax! )

In my 1/16th scale test I was using a ammo 3600kv on a 2s 2500 and I didn't have a radar gun (next test we will) but my boat had to be in the high thirties maybe 40 It was amazing

LOL. In order for us to believe what you say you should be shipping us your boats so we may see it for ourselves!

This really wasn't just about the motor. I could have sold him a Feigao that would have done the same thing. Its about the price and availability of the motors we have available to us these days!
