If I can find a motor with enough torque we can build a prop that will push it to speeds I am looking for. I do not want to run twins although it would be nice, just not in the budget. I don't want to plug the existing holes in the transom. This boat was built by the guys who build the real MTI's so I am not at all concerned with the structural integrity of the hull. I will probably lay some strong matting over the exposed wood mounts though to keep them from tearing out.
60" Cat brushless help?

yeh I have a lil screamer just haven't ran it... gonna run it with a schulze 40-160 this weekend in my DF Sniper.... and there are TWO lil screamer motors in the swap shop for $90 a piece!!! wow almost like you are meant to try them... twin screamers.... why not at only $180 motor investment for the two....

anyone know if I should set my Schulze up a certain way for the screamer or just use it as the pop tart esc it is and take it out of a boat that has a 2215 and leave the settings alone? NICE BOATS THOUGH..... those kept us quiet as to wether you are able to afford a electric setup...lol... take care!!Comment

The best set up your going to get to run this boat right is the one in post #5 by skullyeng. Everything else is just going to be cheap crap and I would not waste my money on them. The Schulze controller would be a better controller to run but the Castle will work as well. I have probably more experience on big boats than most on this board and this is what I would recommend you get.

This is a very big boat and it looks heavy
You will need a lot of watts and a lot of $$$ to move that hull. It' s designed for a 35 cm3 Mathe or a twin Zen ?Comment
