I agree the stock mean machine is a fugly looking beast and I would never have considered one for that reason, but then Team FFRB came out with a new hatch for it which completely transforms the looks, is easy to tape up and very well made, I have had my MM for a while now and like it a lot, although I do wish it was an inch or so wider, but its still one of the best cats you can buy.

The hatch is available from OSE although I believe he is waiting for a shipment at the moment, or direct from team FFRB in Aus, see post 25

The larger of the 2 green/yellow cats here is the mean machine with team FFRB hatch

gonna run 5s2p 10,000 mah hasn't been in the batter yet..... and probably wont this year..... cold weather is here in vermont..... I think I am going to need to replace the motor mount though too.. as the 1520 seems to heavy for the current mount.... I haven't decided what to do yet..... I may get Mr. Zicha to fab me something up as its putting odd pressure on the flex....

Would it be bad to start out with a twins for my first cat?

I seen this beauty and Im head over heels for it:

I understand I would probably have to gut it and reinforce with Carbon Kevlar.

          Looks like a hobbywing esc?
