I've had an ETTI 100 in my 1/10 th Dayton Walther for two years now without a glitch. I also added the ETTI cap bank.

That bigger (amp wise) is always a good thing. I too have used a T180 in my 30" shovel with the SV27 motor (until I relaced it with a 9xl). I have also run a Ice 100 (but not with a spec motor). They both have smoth throttle response and the data logging of the Ice is very nice.
