Easily, very easily. You're not even loading it yet, which may be causing heat. I'd prop up to at least a x450. Kind of a big boat for a 1527 though.

Its 6s by the way, forgot that part. The motor seems big enough to me, its not real heavy for the length and rides fairly high. Thanks, it seemed a bit large so i was looking for opinions...............a 642 kept popping into my head..............

        WEre talking about a 1527. A ul-1 motor will spin a 45mm prop. I used the 1.5d on 5s2p with a x455 in a 34" cat. The motor will spin a big prop!

I run a 447/3 on my 1527 on 6S with no sweat. A 645 is a no brainer for that motor on 6S. In fact, try the 447/3. I have mine in an Aeromarine Sprintcat 40 and she hauls the mail!

Wow............the 1527 has some balls huh? It is a sport boat basically, looks real scale with the full interior, windshield and padded rear sundeck and at the 35mph that it goes it looks good. But, we all want a little more speed, im thinking the 645 will push it to low 40's.

Yep, mine was in the same hull as sailr's, and ran a x455. Got me to mid sixties!

An x645 is way too small for that hull, it will slip and be inefficient. The x447/3 makes more sense, but an x450 is not too big. The x450 has about the same pitch as the x645 but more blade area and a larger thrust cone for more efficiency - and thus more speed. Watch the heat but that prop should be easy for the motor. I run a pitched-up x455 with that motor in my SprintCat on 6S....

Wow.............a 645 too small............then im really underpropping it with the 445. I'll throw the 645 on it and see! Now a 548 is catching my attention............??

                    I run a x457 on a 1527 1.5d.
a 645 is a toy prop for that 1527 1y motor. guys at the Nationals were using a 455 on the same motor your using. and I believe it was mild for them.
