Sadly the site is still dead-slow for me, the slowest of all the sites I visit online. Compared to Intlwaters for example - 2 seconds to load a thread on Intlwaters, 25 seconds on OSE. Ten seconds between the two tries above.

    .
ERROR 403 - This is not the page you are looking for

I just clicked this thread and it took less than a second. But I will look into it.

I'm being notified for at least some of the threads I'm subscribed to. Haven't audited to see if it's all of them.

Thanks for the hard work, Steven!

Steven, I was on last night (saturday) around 10pm cst and it was very slow. I got on msn.com and a few others and back to see if it was my connection, but it was not. I used to run a web development group years ago and I know back then we had a service that could monitor our website for performance and send notifications back to you. I think you can get that for free these days.

For me sometimes it is slow to load and sometimes it is faster than before the move
Just after the move it was really quick but now it is hit and miss

Interesting... This matches what I am seeing. See how much slower the response times are in this "check" I did. It will go well for awhile and then not. Sporadic.

As a reference point, here are the speeds for my companies website. We are hosted on GoDaddy.com. This wepage is complex compared to OSE's in that it has graphics etc. Notice how fast it is. As you can see, almost all locations are sub-second. Just thought that would give you a reference point for comparison.

The site I am using to measure the speed is:

I do not like the "it's slow" answer, since I have heard that about a million times in my IT career. Numbers are better. Good luck with this Steven. Not sure how you are running your server or where it is lcoated, but you might consider GoDaddy to host it? Very fast and cheap.
