For some reason if I use my back button it goes to the site down page then I have a hard time getting back on. I have to close the browser and start over. Kinda weird but don't know if it just me. It takes a while for the new ip addresses to be fully attached to the OffshoreElectrics.com url. For instance, some people literally were updated instantly. So on Thursday night when the old forum was shut down, all of a sudden I started getting emails from posts. I looked and was still seeing the old forum, but they were posting on the new one. My IT guy could not see the new site until late yesterday. It all depended on when the servers updated around the world. Thats what i think was happening to BakedMopar.Steven Vaccaro

Could be. The site looks exactly the same so am I on the old one? Another thing is I don't seem to be getting any subscription e-mails. Not a big problem I'm sure it will clear up in time.If all of your wishes are granted, many of your dreams will be destroyed!Comment

A little weird, But...
I too found myself in a strange "blackout" space when the forum was down. I goes to show how much I depend on all of you, my FE buddies, for daily nourishment, especially now that I'm home-bound in this period of high unemployment. Further, and here's the crazy part, every time I sit down at my workbench I can feel someone like Mr. Fluid looking over my shoulder, shaking his head & telling me to do it right ! Or just waiting for Douggies benevolent sarcasm . OK I probably spent too much time in "Edge City" and am maybe a few french fries short of a full Happy Meal, but it's great to share my waning years with you guys. I tried to place an order through the store and it said something about the website not having a valid security certification or somethingComment
-
Thats correct. The site checkout is still secure, but the site certificate did not get moved over to the new server correctly. So it shows as invalid until monday.Steven Vaccaro

No thats not possible. The old forum site is locked down, so if you did have the old ip address to get there. You would not be able to post. It you still have issues on Monday, lets look into it.
Can anyone else tell me if they are not receiving subscription emails? So the site should look the same just moved or did it get a makeover too?

Some spam filters rely on reverse ip verification and may be checking against a cache and filtering it as spam until the reverse verification data is updated. Could be cached in the spam filter software, or stale DNS records which should clear up within an 8 day max IIRC. Max ttl on dns records is 7 days.FighterCatRacing Team CHING BLING - Ching Bling.
