LMAO.. I am not crazy! My mom had me checked... LOL
    It's not M2... close though...
it's for N2... and believe you me, my setup needs a hefty ESC, like I said, 200+
I think I'll have problems with that... maaaaaaaybe I can do it with a 7.4v setup but
the amps would be even more ludicrous...
where can I find a 500A ESC??? that may work, lol. Do hybrid car ESCs need a minimum voltage?
At this point I am taking suggestions, I am running out of options...
    =(

The proposal for M-2 will be any motor, 1S lipo voltage parameter.
David, I am with Tyler on this one, kinda... I hate to see M2 go, but it def needs sprucing up... why not get rid of N1 and do the following with M2:

      Call it "M-1 Class"
"Any ROAR-approved .05 motor as defined by current ROAR parameters. Power Limits: 3.7 Volts nominal, any chemistry. Maximum of 1 packs in parallel. Maximum capacity of 5,000 mAh."

      No Length Limit

There are a lot of batteries out there due to ROAR regulations for 1s cars which are popular now and the ESCs are starting to pop up as well. This is very cheap to put a boat together and still would be fast...

I see there is no capacity limit or hull length restriction either.

I guess if Jan was crazy enough (OK check there) he could strap a 9000kv motor into a 34" hull with 1S4P and assuming he could find a 500a controller he could go ballastic?

I'll be frank, too! I'd like to see that.

The size of motor that has enough Kv to make M-2 work is a good enough power limit, not to mention the ESC's that are available that can run on 1S. I bet the future of 1S controllers won't change too drastically, either.

Lastly, SAW/2 lap runs are short. A 1S 50C 5000 mAh cell can already pop out 250 amps constant on paper. The length/mAh limits for M-2 just aren't necessary IMO.

And N-1 is staying just like it is.

It was done with an sv27 a couple years back on 1s with a 9000kv motor. Speeds were 50+
