Is it like a DF26 copy? Is THIS the motor your referring to?

    * With a 3511kv motor, on a 2s lipo you should have a nice sport boat. I would stick with 2s, and if you really feel the need for speed 3s (very cautious & prop wisely). I would make a nice sport boat out of it and run 2 2s packs in parallel for some extra run time. Prop wisely with those high kv motors. I would imagine something under 40mm. If using a 3/16 shaft something like a x438 maybe or even a x637 (maybe to much pitch though). Do a search of DF26's and read what others are running.

Check out this chart. The motor you have can pull up to 88 max amps. The 25c battery you have can only supply 55 amps continous or 110 burst. I'd assume that motor will run more than 55 constant, which is why your packs swelled, they simply could not handle the amp draw.

You need more mah, something 4000+ or run those 2200mah in parallel for a total of 3s 4400mah. In my opionin those 2200 arent going to cut it by themselves.

You can use the batteries you have you just need to run 2 of the same batteries in the boat at the same time in a Parallel circuit. Do have have 2 of the EXACT same batteries?

                  one 3s 2200 25c and one 3s 2200 45c. can use both together?

I personnally try to run 30c and up, just my preference. I do have some 25c's I run in my no step mono. I would stick to 25c and up never less than 20c.

If you don't understand how series and parallel circuits work you should really read up on it. It willl save you money by allowing you to muniplate different voltages and mah and configurtions. If you only want to run 1 battery at a time in your boat this may help http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=12936
