    gerwin. the rocket in its stock form is a double layer 3" tube (the inside layer is a full length coupler), the rocket has a 38mm MMT and probably isn't going to see anywhere near mach flight. it also has a nice large parachute. i built it with hybrid cloth because it looks awesome. it added some weight, because the field i fly on the waiver is only 3000ft. so flying an I motor in something that's only 3-4lbs puts that right to the limit, a large I motor will push it past.

    yeah, if you look around on some forums, sometimes you can get in on group buys for full rolls of carbon, which saves a good amount of cash. like 5-10 bucks a yard.

    and of course, as stated, ebay is a great source.

    btw, west marine and aeropoxy are the best epoxies i've used. aeropoxy has a high temp resin as well to protect to several hundred degrees against delamination.
