Well good news bad news. Took some video of boat but it came out horrible. For some reason its " blocky" when you watch it.............like the recording was to slow for the speed of the boat, i dont know . But she was running 77mph and had a blow over during a lack of judgment and took the cowl off loseing a well securd...so i thought battery..$170.00 to the bottom of the lake.I had this cowl taped very well with 4 secure nuts for a backup and still it came off. uuuugg!! And I said it did not want to blow over in top post !!!!!!!!!LOL

Oh man, sorry to hear what happened Gary, I've been following your post and was looking forward to the video but now saw this post, damn that sucks.

I have mine sitting in the box for the past 10 months since I received it from phil, and all the hardware and the Neu 1527 1.5d all waiting for me to build. I would have built it over the past winter but my wife and I decided I would develop our basement. Every one is happy now so this fall I can start building on the SS45.

Welp Humpty Dumpty is back togather with some updates that rewarded me with three- 80mph runs and six- 78 mph runs. On 14 volts it ran 65 mph in a wide oval but was sliding real bad. I am trying to find a better/ bigger turn fin.
