They make them RTR too don't they, its probably cheaper just to order them all with holes rather than mess about with ordering 12 uncut for hulls to sell and 8 with holes for RTRs then selling more RTRs than expected and having to cut holes themselves or visa versa.

Having said that, It doesn't have that many holes and is advertised as being a Mono1 competitiion boat (spelled like that and all) despite its no-step design, that is probably the bare minimum amount of holes anyone would use for racing, assuming the chamber is straight with the hull shape tapering the chamber off towards the bow as most are, it could really do with at least one extra hole in the front end.

        I got the boats...

So I got the boats in. I must say, despite all the talk these are really nice boats. The finish is glossy and the quality is very good over all. The hatch fits perfectly. I must say I am pretty shocked in a good way. This is the best no name Asia boat I have seen. I am not saying its like a Supervee, but it is really nice. They feel very light an and glass job is great.

I expected the finish to be on par with a the ones you get at Hobby City, but this blows that away. The flood chamber wall is wood(not so great), but I will coat it. Hey, for 65 bucks with hardware included not bad at all.

So, I will start a build page on in the build section and let you know how it goes...
