[QUOTE=FighterCat57;205233]What do you mean up to date?

Here's a shot of the Tx installed in the boat (it runs off of the lipo tap)

It runs off of 2-6s & up because of the connector design, it can be plugged in to just about any lipo. It does not work off of BEC power. (I tried it)

does have a somewhat limited range, but picks up automatically when back in range.

doesn't even register till 120 though. So if temps are all good, there's no lights. It's a great failsafe so far. =)

thats what i ment by....(up to date)
1st post had no real info on unit, thats all.

No worries. The range is a little short, but comes right back on when in range reliably.

I actually haven't gotten it to alarm, aside from using a hair dryer on it. I don't get temps over 120 on the Apparition or the EKOS any more.

you can calibrate the temps.. 120 will be where its hitting the range its calibrated for.

Just trying to remember how to calibrate lol, best i go searching though my docs.

Yeah, that would be great, I didn't see it in the paper I got. It doesn't pickup till 104 according to the doc.

cant find the doco yet, but just had a play with it, if you turn the receiver on then press set then up and down to move the bars up and down... that is how you do it have a play with the heatgun an the rest will be easy.

I will have a look on my other pc for the doco

Alas... I'm so sad. The Ghetto Tree has died. The Rx picked up a little salt water spray when the drive slipped out a bit and water got in the hull by the drive tube. =(

                  Salt water is vicious!
