Sorry, but I wish everyone would quit using VIMEO! It sucks! Very jerky, just a series of still shots. You have to let it run through at LEAST twice before you can get a true video. With your video I let it completely load three times and never could get anything but a series of still shots.
One cool lookin' cat!

To do twin drives you would probably have to go to solid mount stingers sticking out the back, or make some custom ones.
The gelcoat work definately leaves something to be desired.
You offered a couple of different view angles of the hatch I had not seen before. Now I like it less.... Looks like the hatch is a lot longer than the other cat. Which one is that? (the redish one)
I thought about picking one of these up if another hatch would fit it, now I know I will pass.
Thanks for taking one for the team!
Brian
I'm torn on what to do with this thing now. It's tempting to toss in a cheap motor/ESC & hardware and just go have fun with it.FighterCatRacing Team CHING BLING - Ching Bling. Brilliant, Advanced Sparkle for your hull.Comment

To do twins why not use two struts and mount them up on the transom? If all of your wishes are granted, many of your dreams will be destroyed!Comment

That get's really ugly with hardware quick too.
BTW- Vimeo works great for me. My family uses it to send vids around with password protection. It's a nice feature.FighterCatRacing Team CHING BLING - Ching Bling. Brilliant, Advanced Sparkle for your hull.Comment

I thought it was something different as the one on HOR ebay does not have the exhaust cutouts in the pictures. That is what threw me off.
I thought the HOR cat did not have the exhaust cutouts. The R2 hobbies Godspeed hull is now out, the skunkworks gen II hull I have was rather bad on the deck molding (warpage) but the style looks great. Now I am torn what to do.

I really like the HOTR hull. I'm about to order another one. Possibly the painted Apparition hull. Save some prep time.FighterCatRacing Team CHING BLING - Ching Bling. Brilliant, Advanced Sparkle for your hull.Comment

I've decided that I'm going to use the strut/rudder that I'm replacing on the Genesis and the stock ESC/Motor from the Apparition and just make it a fun little cruiser.
It should make a good 35-40mph single motor china boot. Might have to reinforce the hull a bit before I crack it to all hell though.
Still going to need some paint. At least a clear coat. Maybe some sparkle! Many sparkle for you!FighterCatRacing Team CHING BLING - Ching Bling. Brilliant, Advanced Sparkle for your hull.Comment

Many sparkle, many goodspeed-u!
I really need to work on my Chingrish. I'm a bit rusty.
It actually doesn't look bad. I could have done some decals or stripes, but really don't care to put any effort into this hull.
I found a water cooled inrunner 2700kv that should run well on 2-3s and move this along at 30+. I can run it in salt water and not care. Any more than about 30mph and it's too fast for ocean chop. The fast boats are limited to calm mornings or the pond.
