    It's not untested btw:
This is "dwalts cat" by Kmot on Vimeo, the home for high quality videos and the people who love them.

Also, that radio is a knockoff of the KO Propo Helios, an EXCELLENT radio. Though im sure the knockoff radio is of quality nowhere near the real thing... It may not seem advanced nowadays, but the design is going on 6 years old.

Well, I got a tracking number... So... the bare hull should be here next week. Totally going to be a generic azz "china boot".

I have some super generic motors and ESC's... and some left over 4mm drives... The question is... can I get to 50mph for under $250? I'm going to try!

Yeah, I've got quite a few going on... but that's the thing... it takes about 10 projects to avoid dead in the water "waiting on parts" and having one that actually runs any time I want to hit the water. Right now I have three waiting on drives, two waiting on ESC's and the rest waiting on misc parts! I actually only have ONE running boat right now!!

I'm sure that will change soon though. I'm getting better with these little things and learning more. Each setup get's more and more stable, but it's been quite the expensive learning process.

I have a pair of 380 inrunners I'm going to use. Planning on making it a nice light 2s setup. 3s for speed runs. 3800 kv 60a esc

OK, now when you get it in, could you do me/us a huge favor?

measure the hatch area opening. Or, better yet, see if another hatch cover will fit it. Do you have one of the skunkwork gen II cats? Or a KOS hatch?

I am wondering if one of the other hatches will fit it, for some reason that hatch just strikes me as wrong, but I am interested in the boat.

                    Good luck man, Brian

Um, yeah. You get what you pay for. Wow. Very thin, flimsy, poor seams, warped hatch... glue blobs... glue fingerprints...

...No way to mount stingers! It's a single motor only hull.

It did come with a cute laser cut motor/ESC/Rx/Battery mount thingy...

Think I'm just going to mount the stock motor/ESC from the Surge Crusher in and toss this one in the swap shop.

No room. The sponson transom over hang is flat. All the other models have a cup where the stingers sit up inside the overhang. The sponson transom is only a few mm like 15, not enough space to mount a stinger.

To do twin drives you would probably have to go to solid mount stingers sticking out the back, or make some custom ones.

The gelcoat work definately leaves something to be desired.

You offered a couple of different view angles of the hatch I had not seen before. Now I like it less.... Looks like the hatch is a lot longer than the other cat. Which one is that? (the redish one)

I thought about picking one of these up if another hatch would fit it, now I know I will pass.

Thanks for taking one for the team!
