    The mean machine is a 4s boat. The kv of that motor is WAY too high. Look for an XL size motor from around 1800-2200kv and you'll want at least a 150 amp esc. The motor you linked to would draw seriously big amp #'s with any kind of decent prop, and that's on 2s.

      I'd like to see the castle 2200 on 4s in that hull. I agree with Rum, dont do it!!

                It wont make it go too fast, it will barely go at all as it will not be able to rev up.

                Here are your answers so far, its obviously your decision.

                The kv of that motor is WAY too high.

                  No as stated above and the reason being with these motors you want to shoot for an ideal of 30,000 rpm but with reasonable mass to the motor to spin the correct prop. I would imagine the MM hull would run great with a 45mm prop so obviously that motor wont turn that prop on a hull of that size. 4S LiPo @ 14.8V multiplied by kv of 2000 is just about perfect. Also as stated a Feigao XL motor or a Neu Castle motor at that kv would be great. I hope that makes sense.
