    So with this words I went overt the boat.... Man, I'm such an idiot!!!!!!!!
    Found the reason.... the motor was only held by the 2 screws on the front and nothing at the back, so it was free to move up and down. I guess at one wrong moment it moved up, put a kink into the line and all hell broke loose.
    Oh well... live and learn. No major damage, just a new tube and flex cable and it will run again.
